Details:

This part functionally was working great and will restore your dishwasher again for a fraction of the new cost control panel - if you can find it. All cycle functions work fine. DO NOT try it if looks close, unless you're a KitchenAid design engineer or you know more about this than me. Don't go by model number, although it is provided-pictured on back of panel in black plastic.

Dishwasher front is just all black with pictured handle. The dim LED Heat Dry light is the only problem, rest of Leds are fine as you can see in pictures - control panel test mode. Reverse with the replacement panel and you're done. I removed this part from my dishwasher because OCD me didn't like the fact that Heat Dry blue LED did not light up as much every other see pictures replaced it with a new one that took few months to find on internet for $235.

Shut off the circuit breaker for your dishwasher. I can not provide a return due to the delicate nature of part and process, honestly considered myself bit lucky that all worked out well, did waste $225. If it looks EXACTLY like the one on your dead dishwasher, you're good to go. There is a single miniature power connector to remove.

PN shown in blue-white label is for dishwasher. Loosen all screws on top of the control panel and going down side stainless steel tub-door. If your dishwasher died before Christmas, all is not lost, you can have it working at the start of 2025. I have seen different control panels listed with the same model number.
